Hi Missy,

Just thought I would touch base with you and say that I am very pleased with Jagar (German for hunter). He is 8 months old now and doing great. I had him out hunting a few times now and he really is doing a great job for a pup. We got our first rooster a few weekends ago (attached pic). Since then I had him in the Nicolet National Forest after grouse which again did very well finding birds. We should have got a few more birds but that is not his fault. He quarters well, has a great nose, and a ton of energy. After a few days grouse hunting I had a hard time keeping up with him, he just wanted to go go go. Just a great drive to hunt. Just wanted to say thanks again and we really enjoy our new family member/hunting partner!
